The demand for forklift trucks in Asia-Pacific region across sectors such as automotive, consumer goods, food and beverage, e-commerce is expected to spur in the coming years, owing to the increasing uses of these vehicles in warehouses and distribution centres. Hence, there is a need for such warehouses and distribution centres to operate in an efficient manner that saves time and eases the operations. The strict norms for emissions in the indoor spaces and concerns for sustainability surging demand on electric powered forklift trucks across these supply-chain networks.

Thus, there is a demand in this emerging market as new electric powered forklift trucks need comprehensive after-sale solution from authorised dealers. Achieving excellence in after-sales services business is a top priority to all Nichiyu dealers.

Mitsubishi Logisnext Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MLAP) held the first product support workshop in February in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together 26 invited participants from operational management, service & parts managers to product support team from Nichiyu dealerships and Mitsubishi Logisnext group. The aim of this workshop is to foster exchange a two-way flow of information between the principle and dealers, pulling the rope in the same direction to provide best after-sales solution to end customers.

MLAP and Nichiyu dealers shared the common interest where the series of this product support workshop will continue to uphold the dialogue and share knowledges. This event will be instrumental in meeting the objective to achieving excellence in after-sales services and contributing to the greater Nichiyu forklift truck market share in Asia-Pacific region.
